It was so hard to pick a song this week, mainly because there were so many good songs to choose from. Finally I settled on "Chasing Pavements" because it fits my voice and I can show off my range.

For starters, I am a huge Megan Joy fan. You're fun. You're quirky. You're easy on the eyes. But if I have to be perfectly honest, ya let me down big time during Season 8. I think it's because you're one of those artists that have a great voice - but you can't do alot of different styles of music. You're not a "crossover" artist as they call them.

That being said, Chasing Pavements by Adele ... great song. And for you AWESOME job! This song .. this style is right up your alley. If you didn't do well with _this_ you probably would have left The Dawg crying at the judges desk.

But do me a favor in the future - if you want to stay in this competition. Take a cue from Adam Lambert and bring songs that are outside of your comfort zone _into_ your comfort zone. It'll take some work and alot of thinking .. but if ya can do it .. You're gonna be around for a long time.

I thought it was FANTASTIC! You killed it. Great job Megan. This song is really yours.
However, you just be careful for some high notes.

well Megan, you should know that I won't "sugarcoat" things with anyone and this was just ok, this song goes a bit dull sometimes and like Jason said these high notes might kill you. This song was a good choice, but it just didn't make me want to pay attention to it, it made me want to go off for a walk and just forget it. Goodluck.

Magan i just love you but this was not the right song for you dont get me wrong you sang it well but i know you can do much better and u look very pretty tonigt but but wat im really trying to say is u did a good job keep up the good work
